As mentioned before, they have sacrificed more than anyone in this country. That’s why it’s a shame that the drug abuse statistics for them are always at a high. However, thanks to the Desert Hope Treatment Center, hopefully, this negative statistic will change soon.
Motivated by the military appreciation month, this American Addiction Center Branch has launched a life-line for any veteran of any drug or mental problem to find help. Calling it the Salute To Recovery program, this program will have the overall focus of not just helping veterans recover but, giving them an opportunity to thrive outside of the addiction center. Also, they know how much veterans are affected by PTSD.
Otherwise known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the Desert Hope Addiction Center knows how seriously this illness needs to be taken. This is why the center has taken specific actions towards helping veterans in these areas through teaching, recovery seminars, and other similar programs. All in all, more recovery center need to be following in the footsteps of the Desert Hop Treatment.
