With the primary process in full swing we here at Left Field Sports are endorsing Democrat Bill Bradley for President. Our basis for this is that no other candidate has the backing of as prominent an athlete as Michael Jordan.
Probably the most important consideration in making our endorsement for Bradley is Jordan's six NBA Championships. What else but the indomitable winning spirit that Jordan has could serve as a true barometer to Bill Bradley's worthiness to be President.
But as if the championship spirit of Jordan were not enough to earn our endorsement, his other accomplishments certainly are.
Among Jordan's amazing statistical accomplishments is his all-time NBA leading scoring average of 31.5, playoff game record of 69 points versus Boston, the all-time playoff scoring leader, and league scoring leader a record ten times.
Then there are the numerous awards that Jordan has received include league MVP five times, Playoff MVP six times, All-Star game MVP three times, Defensive Player of the Year in 1988, and named to the league All-NBA team ten times and All-Defensive team eight times.
Jordan was also named one of the 50 greatest players in a NBA history and was named ESPN's greatest Athlete of the Century.
And that is just his professional career. Jordan has proven to be equally successful, in college where he won a National Championship and was name Naismith Player of the Year, and business, where he took a struggling shoe company and turned them into a worldwide powerhouse.
What candidate can boast of such a career? Well, none, but Michael Jordan can, and Jordan has endorsed Bill Bradley. Actually Bradley has won an NBA title and had a very successful college career. So he's got that going for himself as well.
Even though many athletes have yet to give their official endorsement, we sincerely doubt that any other candidate will be able to match Bill Bradley's Michael Jordan in these overwhelming numbers and accomplishments. That is why are confidant in our assessment that Michael Jordan legendary achievements make Bill Bradley the best candidate to be President of the United Sates of America.
