Dr. Saad Saad Receives recognition for his Contributions to Humanitarian Efforts

Dr. Saad Saad is the most published pediatric surgeon in the United States today. He is based in Eatontown, New Jersey where he has practiced his profession for the last four decades. His mastery of the medical field has seen him attract the attention of humanitarian groups and even the Saudi Royal family which hired him for five years as a private pediatric surgeon. Throughout his career, he has performed a large number of operations to patients in different parts of the world.

Dr. Saad Saad has been involved in various humanitarian efforts aimed at helping the poor children mainly in the United States and the Middle East. In 2002, he worked with the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) in addressing the medical needs of poor children living in the Middle East. The PCRF had a 15-year-old child who had suffered gunshot wounds in Palestine. Although was treated at a local Israeli hospital, his wounds were too severe to be treated locally. The PCRFpartnered with Dr. Saad Saad and flew the child to the United States where he would be treated by Dr. Saad Saad.

In 2003, Dr. Saad Saad carried out a complex seven-hour surgery to repair the damaged internal parts of the child’s body. Through the partnership with PCRF, Dr. Saad Saad has completed numerous other surgeries for children based in the West Bank.

Awards

Due to his dedicated efforts towards helping in the poor people of Palestine, Dr. Saad Saad was awarded by the PCRF with the Humanitarian Award. He also received another award from the ministry of health for supporting humanitarian services in the region. Dr. Saad Saad had an opportunity of being received by the former president of Palestine Mr. Mohamoud Abbas during a medical mission in 2015.

During this meeting, Dr. Saad Saad was presented with a Gold Medal of Palestine for his great work. It is important to note at this juncture that Dr. Saad Saad was born in Palestine before his family was ejected out of their home and forced into exile In Kuwait.

For over 40 years now Dr. Saad Saad has been in the medical industry performing complex pediatric surgeries in the United States and the Middle East. He has also contributed to the community by educating future doctors who will take up his role once he is out of the profession.

Currently, he is retired, but his influence in the medical industry is still being considered one of the best in history. At the time of his retirement, Dr. Saad Saad left with two inventions which involved improvements of the traditional endoscope and a catheter.
