The brain is one of the most complex organs in the human body. All of our thoughts, emotions, perceptions and behavior come from this vital organ. Did you know that electric activities take place in the brain? Yes, this is absolutely correct, and there are literally billions of neurons that regulate natural current. Though scientists and researchers have come a long way over the years, the brain is still one of the most mysterious organs of the body. Advances in EEG technology is helping scientists to unravel many of the mysteries. EEG technology is basically known as brain mapping, and this technology has been providing copious amounts of information that was once off-limits.

Neurofeedback has given scientists a much clearer picture and understanding on how to further improve the brain’s functions. Unlocking these mysteries isn’t very easy, but organizations like Neurocore is utilizing this knowledge to treat a wide range of mental disorders, including ADHD, depression, anxiety and ASD. Neurocore is basically a brain performance center that uses a variety of advanced methods to study the brain. This particular organization offers top-of-the-line brain diagnostics as well as offer brain performance training. Analyzing and identifying the sources of the symptoms is where this program excels. Neurocore will then develop a program that meets the patient’s needs. Brain mapping technologies and neurofeedback has been going on since the 20th century.

Two of the earliest contributors of neuroscience were Luigi Galvani and Alessandro Volta. These two individuals are considered to be the forefathers of modern electrophysiology. Galvani experimented with frog legs by connecting them to a metal fence during a storm. Of course, when the lighting flashed, the frog legs would definitely contract. Neurocore conducts similar tests today, but the tests are conducted with advanced technologies like electroencephalograms and heart rate variability.
